Back the team that stays on the problem
A founding partner underwrites the standing team: six core roles, the specialists a campaign needs, the place to build, and a public record of the work.

What the support is for
Six people hold the organization. Specialists join for a specific competition. The record is part of the work: methods and results an outside judge can follow, and a public account of what was tried.
Support can be philanthropic or strategic. It covers the core team, the specialists, the facilities, the prototypes, and the reporting a backer should expect.
Six functions. No directory of people.
Team Principal / Executive Director
Accountable for the mission, the annual plan, and the organization's external standing.
Technical Captain / Competition Director
Owns a selected campaign: technical scope, day-to-day decisions, and the submission.
Lead Inventor / Experimental Builder
Leads the physical build or the experimental apparatus a campaign requires.
Computational Engineer / Technical Competitor
Leads models, software, and entries where the work is computational.
Experimental Research & Validation Lead
Owns measurement, protocols, and the evidence an outside judge needs.
Partnerships & Competition Operations Director
Owns prize logistics, collaborator relationships, and the reporting a founding program requires.
Nothing is open for application
